Welcome to Rum River Kayaking, a division of Twin Cities Kayaking.

We deliver and pick up recreational kayaks for trips along the lower section of the Rum River.

The Rum River is a hidden gem in the Twin Cities Metro area. The section we kayak offers a relaxing and wildlife-filled adventure that any skill level can navigate. It is truly a beautiful experience.

Our Rum River trips are self-guided. We deliver kayaks to the start and pick them up at the end. You are responsible for your own personal transportation to the launch point and exit point. It is recommended that you arrange to have a car at each end, or use a ride share option like Uber.
